Dave - With him getting so frail, I would recommend not having him portage anything anymore. In fact I will offer to carry him at each portage. Since he is the founder and king of the He-Man, we will bring a small throne for him to sit on. .
Jonah - A MARVELOUS CASH PRIZE OF $10,000 FOR DOING THE He-Man. .
Kenny - Dear Dave, i promise to not.... Ahhh, who am I kidding? The only quitting I've done is beer. I wont serenade anyone with a violin this year, or play the song of our people until the moon goes over the trees, or eat all the beans & apricots, or tell offensive jokes.... Fingers crossed .
Zach - He-Man Dave does not need incentives. He lives for the He-Man; that one time a year when he can demonstrate his alpha-male canoe superiority. When he can lap all in the lake race. Wake everyone up to kill their arms another day. Force all to lake bathe before completing their journey. Yes, He-Man Dave does not require incentives, but perhaps needs to offer incentives to keep the dwindling number to return to witness his greatness .
Adrian - Paddle till my back goes out .
2) For the first time since 2015 Kenny finished the He-Man with us. He typically registers every year, but either doesn't show up or doesn't finish the trip. What is the chance you think Kenny will finish two years in a row?Dave - If we tell him that he can bring his coyote call and sound off whenever he wants I am sure he will come. Otherwise statistically it is very doubtful he will come. .
Jonah - This must be a cycle so in 2031 he will finish again. .
Kenny - Oooh really? I Accept your challenge, whomever shall bet against must buy my meal post he man. Ill be thinner than ever .
Zach - High - 75%. Must keep steak going. .
Adrian - If he has a gallon of beer. I think he will make it .
3) Last year Chris and Adrian had a wonderful meal for us to eat Sunday evening. But we got to the campsite so late and the mosquitoes were so bad that we did not get to enjoy the meal. What should we do to prevent this from happening in the future?Dave - Instead of staying together as a group, we should race to the campsite. Every canoe for themselves. If the slow canoes don't get supper, that is their problem. .
Jonah - We should bring extremely large quantities of bug spray to exterminate the mosquitoes. .
Kenny - Precook. Or leave them to the flies? .
Zach - Paddle faster, smoke the forest, and then drone drop Mc Donald's (with happy meals - those toys are important). .
Adrian - By eating all the mosquitoes as we paddle so we wouldn’t have this problem .
4) With Ron and Boyd both retired from the He-Man, a lot of responsibility falls on Zach as being the last Roloff. What Roloff tradition or behavior do you expect Zach to keep?Dave - I believe that Zach should revive the Dunce Hat tradition. Like his dad. 1) Make two tall hats that tie under your chin and say in big letters - DUNCE. 2) Have a canoe partner that will break one of the He-Man rules. 3) Wear the Dunce hat proudly with his partner all day. .
Jonah - With the other two retired from the He-Man Zach should fulfill all Rolodex traditions and some. .
Kenny - Zach must paddle with me as penance. Saints be with ya laddie!
Zach - Ram Dave's canoe, matching costumes, cookie points / Jelly Beans / Fruit Loops trail mix - some sort of sugar, wear a beaver on his head, ... this list could go on for a bit. .
Adrian - Their love for mushrooms and olives .
